Sears is once again offering their popular gift card promotion for Father’s Day! Spend $50 in men’s apparel from June 10th to June 19th and you’ll save 25% off, plus get a $25 “award card” to use beginning June 20th!
It appears that this year, you’ll get the $25 award/gift card in the store (seems like in years past, you had to mail in a rebate). It’s limit one award card per purchase, and be very careful to read the fine print on this deal: it excludes footwear, clearance items, and Dockers, among a long list of other items. Last year, I know some people purchased Sears gift cards at King Soopers to earn the fuel points (which gives you 5 fuel points for every $1 in gift cards, though I think right now it is actually 20 points) and then purchase $50 at Sears to earn the $25 award card, but it seems like people had some issues with them not wanting to give the award card when you bought with a gift card. Can anyone recall how that ended up working out?
