Safeway has revamped their gas rewards program and you can now save up to $1 off a gallon of gas!  Plus, they’re also offering one lucky Denver Bargains reader a $50 Safeway gift card to spend on gas or anything else in the store.  Keep reading to find out more info about their gas rewards and enter the giveaway!

Here’s how their gas rewards program works.  Shop at Safeway using your Safeway card and you’ll earn points in the following ways:

• Each $1 spent on groceries = 1 point
• Each $1 spent on qualifying gift cards = 2 points
• Each prescription filled = 50 points

Every 100 points get you 10¢ off per gallon for a single fill-up at a Safeway gas station. You can use your points in increments of 100 and use up to 1000 points for a single fill-up.

• 100 points = 10¢ off per gallon
• 200 points = 20¢ off per gallon
• 500 points = 50¢ off per gallon
• 1000 points = $1 off per gallon

Right now through October 29, you’ll earn four times the amount of gas reward points when you purchase qualifying gift cards! For every $1 you spend, you’ll earn four points to make your fuel rewards add up even faster.  You can visit their Gas Reward Points Center to find out more.
