There’s a couple of great Friday-only sales at Safeway this week – Safeway is definitely the place for pistachio sales.
They also have a Buy 4, Save $4 sale running on some Lipton, Bertolli, and other Unilever products – no prices are listed in the ad, but it could mean some good deals, especially if we were to happen to get coupons for these products on Sunday.
These deals are valid October 26-November 1, 2011.

$1.99 for Pantry Essentials (gallon) at Safeway
The international creamer MQ is for 16 oz only. The 32 oz is the one on sale, so I don’t think the MQ will work.
Also, I have several copies of the MDA Safeway coupon book, it’s title is “Make a Muscle, Make a Difference” but I can’t find a Seattle’s Best coffee coupon inside… do I have the wrong book?

Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips were BOGO when I went today. At just over $2, I thought this was a great deal and stocked up.
In the produce section there is a 8 1/2 X 11 size booklet called Safeway Fresh Ideas Magazine. It is the October 2011 one and inside there are several produce coupons, one of which is $2.00 off one Fresh Express 9 oz Spinach. They are 10 for 10 this week so free with coupon!
I did the spinach deal today and they ended up having me get 2 bags for each coupon…rather than adjusting down the value of the coupon. It made no sense to me but the manager was bagging and telling the checker what to do…long story short YMMV but I got 4 bags with 2 coupons completely free. I was planning on getting 3 bags with 3 coupons but went and grabbed another bag after they reached their interesting conclusion :)
Also, the Skippy peanut butter deal with the catalina that everyone is talking about wasn’t great at my store in Littleton because the price wyb 4 was still $2.49 instead of $1.49 like some sites are reporting.
I got a $10 of $50 coupon in the mail from Safeway and then when I used it today, I got another $10 off $50 catalina! Not sure if all Safeway card members got this, but it sounds like they’re doing this promotion all through November. It will definitely help as I buy the ingredients for Thanksgiving!
