Well, so much for the hot hot hot deal on charcoal at Lowe’s – it’s actually cheaper at Walmart! Erin said you can get two 15-pound bags for $5.48. At Lowe’s it’s $9.99 for 40 total pounds and I’m too lazy to do the per-pound math but it’s clearly cheaper at Walmart. ;) Either way, this is one of the best times of year to buy charcoal!
Home Depot hasn’t posted a new Memorial Day ad yet but they usually have a deal comparable to the one at Lowe’s on Memorial Day weekend.

Home depot will price match plus 10% off too right?
I don’t remember if they do the plus 10% anymore. But, it would have to be for the same product and if Walmart’s bags are 15 lb and Home Depot’s are 13.9, I don’t think it will work. And Lowe’s are 20 lb! Kind of funny that they package it in so many different-sized bags.
