King Soopers Weekly Ad and Coupon Matchups: Daytona 500 Savings Event (June-July 2012)

King Soopers is back with another Buy 10 savings promotion this week! This time, it’s buy 10 items, save $3 instantly and then get a coupon for $2 off your next order. Obviously, it’s more of a pain to do since you have to remember to redeem the coupon, but there are some great deals that are worth using some brain space to remember: Hefty storage bags as low as $0.49 after coupons, Breyer’s for $2.29, Best Foods mayo for $1.79 after coupons, and more.

If you haven’t heard, the new King Soopers Marketplace at 104th Avenue and Chambers in Commerce City is opening on Wednesday (June 27th)! I’m sure they will have lots of grand opening specials, so be sure to check out the ad for that specific store on their website late Tuesday night or Wednesday. I saw that the first 300 customers get a coupon book, but they also always do amazing grocery deals for these grand openings or grand re-openings, too.

One final note: the ad this week actually runs through next Wednesday, July 4th. The next new ad will be out on July 5th.

Buy ten participating items, save $3.00 instantly at checkout + receive an additional catalina (checkout coupon) for $2.00 off your next order. Remember, those $2 catalinas do expire, so make sure you use them on time!

You can purchase multiple groups of ten, mix and match the items. The listed price (if there are no coupons for that item) and the "net cost at checkout" (if there are coupons to use) below reflects an instant discount of $0.30 per item for buying in groups of ten, and the "net cost after catalina" reflects the $0.20 per item savings that you'll get when you redeem the $2.00 catalina that you earned on the first transaction.

You can "roll" these catalinas, meaning that you can purchase a group of ten and receive a $2 catalina, then use that $2 catalina to buy another group of ten items that would also trigger another $2 catalina (assuming you chose to purchase 10 more participating items on a future transaction.)

These types of promotions usually last two weeks, so my guess is that this one will go through July 10th.
