What is the best way to FREEZE meat so it lasts? I use freezer bags but I still seem to get freezer burn on my items.

I have record of it being this price this week, 1/25/12, and 7/20/11 from a quick glance at the archives. So, maybe a couple of times a year?
No huge tips on freezing it – I always get a little freezer burn, too. I usually purchase my beef at Ranch Foods in vacuum sealed one-pound packages which eliminates freezer burn but that won’t help you in this case. :/
