Albertsons Weekly: Hot Deals On P&G Products (Cascade, Pantene, Gillette) + Sockeye Salmon And More

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a bunch of really hot deals at Albertsons, but their P&G event this week has lots of great prices on Cascade, Downy, Old Spice and Gillette body wash, Head and Shoulders shampoo, and more! I know some of you aren’t going to like it – it’s buy $30, get $10 to spend on your next order, but if you are brand-loyal to P&G items, it might be worth a trip.

They also have great prices on sockeye salmon, petite sirloin steaks, blueberries, and more.

Note: King Soopers and Safeway are not starting their new ads until Thursday, July 5th. We’ve already posted King Soopers’ deals here, but Safeway’s won’t be up until Thursday.

Purchase $30 in participating P&G products, receive a catalina (checkout coupon) for $10 off your next order. I don't know if the Tide and Pantene that's featured elsewhere in the ad is included in the participating products, but if it is, that Pantene would be a great deal!

The "net cost after catalina" below is computed as 33% off the shelf price (before coupons), and assumes that you spend exactly $30 - which of course is going to be close to impossible but that's the best way to figure the ultimate savings. :)

Has anyone been to the store yet and noticed if Pantene is included in the P&G Event? I hope so.

Also, I used to be able to tell from the old bar codes if you could use a BOGO coupon and another coupon for the same two items, but with the new bar codes, is there a way to tell? I have the Head & Shoulders BOGO coupon and another $1 off and wondered if I can use both.

  I’ve contacted several companies about this, and the response was that the BOGO applies to both products, so you couldn’t use an additional coupon in conjunction with it unless you bought a third product.
