The REI stores in Lakewood and Englewood will be having their members-only garage sales this Saturday, July 28th! The garage sale features used items that have been returned and you can usually score some pretty great deals. My husband went to a sale last month and got a luggage carrier for our van for about 50% off retail – the only thing that was wrong with it was a bent key, which he was able to replace for $5.
You have to be a member to make a purchase at the garage sale, but can buy a lifetime membership for $20 and they usually let you buy it at the garage sale. The sales at the Lakewood and Englewood stores start at 9 AM but the line usually starts forming much earlier! Get more info here.
