We are excited to welcome Dine Dealer as our sponsor this month! Dine Dealer is a free app for iPhone and Android that gives you dining deals wherever you are. I love the fact that there are no vouchers to purchase and no coupons to print – just open the app, see the deals that are near you, and decide where you want to eat. Then, you just go to the restaurant and click “unlock” to get the deal. The app uses GPS to determine that you’re in the restaurant and then allows the deal to unlock.
The Dine Dealer app doesn’t require any planning ahead; it’s available whenever you want to dine out, and you don’t need to have access to a printer to print a coupon.. You also don’t have to register or sign in to use the app. Here’s a few tips that I learned from using the app:
- The app defaults to showing restaurants that have offers within 5 miles. You can click Range on the top left to change that to up to 20 miles if you’re willing to drive a bit.
- You can also view nearby restaurants that don’t necessarily have coupons. Click on the Restaurants tab at the bottom to get a list of nearby restaurants. If a restaurant participates in the Dine Dealer program, it will have a red and white icon on the top left of the restaurant’s logo.
- You can also create a watch list so that Dine Dealer will alert you when your favorite restaurants have a deal.
