The big REI store in Denver is having a members-only garage sale this Saturday, September 15th! REI’s garage sales featured used-and-returned merchandise at deep discounts and are legendary for good deals on sporting goods. I can only imagine that the one at their flagship store in Denver has to be one of the best!
The sale starts at 8 AM, but you’ll want to get there earlier – they are doing a color-coded ticket system to make the process go smoothly and the tickets will be handed out at 7 AM. Here’s how they are describing in on their website:
“Intending to provide a pleasant shopping experience for all, access to the Garage Sale will be by randomly selected and color-coded tickets. 100 tickets per color group will be distributed. (Example: If there are 300 people in line, 3 colors of 100 tickets each will be distributed.) These tickets will be distributed at 7:00 AM near the store entrance. When the store opens at 8:00 AM, the first group of 100 shoppers will enter. Each group will have 20 minutes to shop. Purchases are limited to 5 items per membership.” Source
