If you haven’t stocked your freezer with strawberries for the winter, this might be a good time to do so: Sprouts has them for $1.25 starting Wednesday! They also have the $0.33 red bell pepper sale again. A few weeks ago, I bought some and roasted them, then put them in the freezer. I haven’t used them yet, but when I do, I’ll let you know how it worked! I’ve frozen fresh bell peppers before and didn’t care for the texture, but I’m hoping they’ll be ok since I roasted them first.
Sprouts also has a great deal on organic, grass-fed beef!
These deals are valid September 26, through October 3, 2012.

Is the .99/lb. for organic Gala apples likely a rock-bottom price? Or do these go lower into October?
It’s rock-bottom compared to what we saw last year.
thanks—I’m new to the area, so that’s helpful1
Anyone know the % fat for the organic grass fed ground beef?
I think it is 93% lean. It is very yummy ground beef.
