I am happy to see honey on sale again this week, even though Walgreens runs this deal quite often. I use it when baking bread and $4.99 for a 32 oz bottle is actually a pretty good deal. And, I’m also eager to pick up some free Blistex. You can never have enough lip moisturizer here in Colorado.
The new Balance Rewards points program is beginning at Walgreens this week. You will see some items listed that will earn you extra points on their new Balance Rewards card this week. Here is a breakdown on the point value:
5,000 pts = $5
10,000 pts = $10
18,000 pts = $20
30,000 pts = $35
40,000 pts = $50
As you can see, if you save up your points until you have more, they are worth more money per point. You do have to have at least 5,000 points to redeem them.
They basically don’t expire, though, as long as you shop using your Balance Rewards card at Walgreens at least once every since months.
Be sure to read “Walgreens Coupon Policy and FAQ” if you are a new Walgreens shopper, or even if you aren’t sure that you’re making the most of your shopping experiences!
These deals are valid September 16 – 22, 2012.

my ad shows 24pk 16.9oz Nice water for $1.99. Does this vary by region? I am in Longmont
Heidi,
Thanks for pointing that out! Yes, the deals can be regional and the online ad that I used to do the post must’ve been from another region. :-) I’ve updated the post – that makes it a GREAT deal for a case of water.
