I just received this information for Windows 8 users from Coupons.com:
If your users have recently upgraded to Windows 8, they will not be able to print coupons from our site across all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) while operating in Metro mode. The coupon printer uses an Active X control that has been disabled by Microsoft in Windows 8 Metro Mode.
To print coupons in Windows 8, your users will need to visit our site from a browser opened in Windows 8 Classic mode. To switch to Classic Mode in Window 8, navigate back to the desktop by selecting the desktop tile, then launch the browser of choice as you normally would.
Hopefully that’s easy enough to do for you Windows 8 users! On a related note, I was happy to discover that when I upgraded to OSX Mountain Lion on my Mac that I can now print coupons again – and from Firefox, too! In the previous OSX (Lion?) I couldn’t print any of them (but I could with Leopard). Anyway, whatever issue there was seems to be fixed in Mountain Lion and works better than it did even in Leopard.
There are a bunch of new Glade coupons available to print today, by the way.
