Safeway usually has pretty good deals on holiday baking supplies and it appears they’re going to again this year, with C&H sugar for $1.99 through Thanksgiving! (Just $1.49 after coupons.) They also have some good prices on Toll House chocolate chips, Honey Nut Cheerios, Chinet paper goods, and more.
These deals are valid November 1-6, 2012.

How does the French’s French Fried Onions price work? You say it is $2.99. If you put a doubled $.50/1 coupon on it, it is $1.99, nowhere close to the $0.99 that would rate it a 5.
Yeah, I think I missed out on something in math class. Sorry!
I’m not sure what the “regular” size of Jiff peanut butter is, but the 40 oz jar of Jiff is only 2.2x the size of the Safeway peanut butter on sale, but it is 2.5x the price. That means that if you don’t care between those brands, the Safeway peanut butter is cheaper per ounce. (King Soopers also has Kroger peanut butter as part of their “buy 10 save $5″ promotion which is also $1.99 after the promotional savings).
Yeah, but you know how it is – choosy moms choose Jif. ;) (Do they still use that slogan?)
With somethings there is such a thing as quality over price……although I am a Skippy Natural kinda girl ;)
The coupons I’m seeing on your links for Honey Nut Cheerios are all for original Cheerios only…unless I’m missing something. Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and coupons.com are all coupons for original Cheerios.
Hmm, it’s possible the Honey Nut Cheerios coupons expired at the end of the month. Sorry!
I found a great matchup for Baker’s Chocolate at Safeway. In their Thanksgiving ad there is an in store coupon for $0.75 off + a printable manufacturers $0.50 off any one BAKER’S Chocolate coupon. The store price is $3.69 – $1.75 for $1.94 for a 8 oz box! Limit 2 with in ad coupon.
