Free Workshops for Kids from Home Depot & Lowe’s

Did you know that both Home Depot and Lowe’s offer free workshops for kids on Saturdays?

home-depot-kids-workshopHome Depot offers one free workshop per month, usually on the first Saturday of the month. Attendees receive an orange Home Depot apron specially sized for kids, a pin, a certificate of achievement, and the project for the day! The project varies, and you can check out the project for the upcoming workshops here (click on Kids Workshops on the top right). You will need to register online in order to ensure a spot.

Lowe’s “Build and Grow Workshops” are held twice monthly, usually on Saturdays but sometimes on both Saturday and Sunday. The child attendees receive an apron, safety goggles, a patch, and their project of the day. You can see what project will be featured on the Lowe’s Build and Grow website, where you can also find a participating location and register online, which is required.
